With the Eduard boxing, the engines are relegated to the spares bin. Instead, Eduard provide you with resin compressor faces and jet nozzles. So, the required parts were sawn off the casting blocks after painting with Alclad steel and superglued together

About Me

I'm in my fifties and live in Regional Victoria, Australia.
My modelling story is probably the same as many others my age.
Starting at a very young age with the Airfix P-51D Mustang, my Father had brought home for me from a business trip, followed by their iconic Spitfire IX .
I instantly fell in love with the hobby and worked my way through several Airfix, Frog and Matchbox kits before discovering 1/48 scale Monogram models with all the working features.
Apart from the break we all seem to take where jobs, cars, and going out become the most important thing, I've been modelling ever since.
48 is still my preferred scale, although a fair bit of 32 seems to be creeping in.
